Advancing Precision Care in HER2-Positive Gastroesophageal Adenocarcinomas
August 7, 2026
12:15 PM - 1:15 PM ET
Virtual Regional Meeting | North Carolina
Overview:
The management of esophagogastric adenocarcinoma has evolved substantially with the introduction of effective targeted and immunologic therapies. However, these therapies are appropriate mainly for patients with specific biomarkers, necessitating careful coordination among the multidisciplinary team to ensure proper tissue stewardship and testing, which in turn allows for appropriate treatment selection and sequencing, as well as management and mitigation of adverse events.
In this series of live, virtual webcasts, experts in the management of esophagogastric adenocarcinoma discuss the evaluation and treatment of HER2-positive disease across the treatment continuum. Each program in the series addresses distinct clinical challenges, from first-line treatment selection through management of progression and adverse events associated with HER2-directed therapies. These points are discussed in the context of patient case scenarios that reflect the decisions clinicians encounter in practice.
