Overview:
This live, virtual symposium will bring together a world-renowned expert in the management of breast cancer and a local community oncologist to discuss disparities in triple-negative breast cancer (TNBC) care. In this program, the faculty will review recent clinical updates in the management of TNBC, with a focus on factors contributing to disparities in care and their impact on patient outcomes. Strategies to overcome disparities in the care of patients with TNBC will be discussed. Case-based conversations will be included throughout the program to provide clinicians with insights into integrating novel treatment approaches into the care of patients with TNBC along with practical strategies to address disparities in diagnosis, testing, and treatment order to improve outcomes across diverse patient populations. Participants will have the opportunity to reflect on addressing the impact of disparities in cancer care.
