Community Oncology Connections™: Clarifying Novel Treatment Pathways in HER2+ Breast Cancer

    April 22, 2026
    5:15 PM - 6:15 PM PT
    Virtual Regional Meeting | Washington

    Overview:

HER2-positive breast cancer accounts for approximately 15% of breast cancer cases and is characterized by an increasingly complex treatment landscape. While advances in HER2-directed therapies have improved outcomes across early-stage and metastatic disease, the rapid expansion of available options has created challenges for community-based clinicians related to optimal sequencing, safety management, and application of emerging data, highlighting a continued educational need.

This program will be delivered as a series of ten live, CME-certified virtual meetings in collaboration with ACCC-affiliated Oncology State Societies, supported by an enduring online activity. Using an interactive, case-based format tailored to community oncology practice, the initiative is designed to translate evolving clinical evidence into practical, real-world decision-making and support personalized care for patients with HER2-positive breast cancer.

    Learning Objectives:

Upon completion of this activity, participants will be able to:

    • Evaluate current and emerging clinical trial data to support evidence-based sequencing of HER2-directed therapies across stages in HER2+ breast cancer
    • Integrate patient-, disease-, and treatment-related variables—including safety, tolerability, site of care, and patient goals—into personalized HER2+ breast cancer management strategies
    • Analyze key safety and tolerability data for current and emerging HER2-targeted therapies to inform evidence-based patient counseling and AE management in HER2+ breast cancer

    Target Audience:

This educational program is primarily directed toward community-based surgical and medical oncologists, advanced practice providers, nurses, and other healthcare professionals involved in the treatment of breast cancer.
