Overview:

Hormone receptor–positive/HER2-negative metastatic breast cancer remains the most common subtype of advanced breast cancer, yet treatment selection in the community oncology setting is becoming increasingly complex as the therapeutic landscape rapidly evolves. The emergence of oral selective estrogen receptor degraders (SERDs) and other next-generation endocrine therapies, coupled with the critical need for timely ESR1 biomarker testing, is reshaping expectations for endocrine resistance management and individualized treatment sequencing. As new clinical trial data emerge, healthcare professionals must navigate efficacy and safety profiles while implementing shared decision-making and patient counseling strategies to effectively manage adverse effects, maintain treatment adherence, and optimize overall patient outcomes.

This online, CME-certified Oncology State Societies at ACCC Meeting Series – How Can We Optimize the Use of Oral SERDs in the Community Oncology Setting?
