Where Psychiatry Meets the California Coast

The field of psychiatry is changing due to advances in diagnostic techniques and new potential therapies. In order to provide the best treatment for their patients, it is important that psychiatrists and members of the multidisciplinary care team understand new and novel forms of therapy and how to apply them in clinical practice. The 2026 Southern California Psychiatry Conference is the perfect educational opportunity for applying new strategies in psychiatric clinical practice. This meeting will showcase regional experts in presentations and panel discussions. The topics will include managing challenging psychiatric conditions, including major depressive disorder, substance use disorders, schizophrenia, and more. This program creates the opportunity to review patient scenarios, reflect on how to handle challenging cases, integrate relevant evidence into real-world patient management, and get feedback from experts and peers. Emerging treatments and the best practices for using them will be addressed during this 2-day educational program.
